What should we do if the Switch often fails to turn on?

According to Nintendo, there are two main reasons why the Switch does not turn on. One may be that the battery is dead. In this case, the user needs to charge the device for more than 30 minutes (a full charge takes about 3 hours), and then try to turn it on.

Another situation is that the Switch host has sufficient power, but it still cannot be successfully turned on. Nintendo said that this situation may be that the device is stuck. Users can observe in a dark place. If the device is stuck, the screen of the host will emit a weak signal light.

In this case, just press and hold the power button for 12 seconds or more to completely turn off the power of the host, and then turn on the power again to use it normally.

In addition, when talking about Switch failure, I have to mention the drift of the joystick. It is reported that this is a flaw in the hardware design of Nintendo. No matter how careful users use it, they cannot avoid drifting after a period of time.

Although Nintendo has introduced a related after-sales policy a long time ago, it can repair the handle for free for users with joystick drift, but this method does not cure the problem and cannot avoid the subsequent normal use for a long time.
