iPad Pro2021 is finally here~
One of the highlights of the new iPad Pro 2021 (12.9 inches) is the LCD screen based on mini-LED technology.
It is called the Super Liquid XDR screen by Apple and the previous 2020 model uses a normal type LCD screen, so what are the advantages and disadvantages of the new screen?
This mini-LED is a very new screen technology~
Its luminous particles are reduced to about one-fifth of the ordinary screen, the display is more delicate, and the dimming is finer.
It can provide:
Higher brightness
Richer color display range, better color saturation, higher dynamic contrast, deeper black display (reaching the XDR-level display described by Apple)
It can largely avoid the halo caused by light leakage of ordinary LCD screens
Compared with the OLED type screen used by iPhone 12, it can:
Continuously provide higher brightness display
Longer service life
It is not easy to cause burn-in and color shift problems
However, in theory, this will bring more heat
(Improving the heat dissipation capacity may be one of the reasons for the slightly increased thickness of the iPad Pro 2021)
