Over the past 14 years, RED products have raised nearly $25 billion in donations to fund HIV/AIDS treatment programs. From now until April 100, Apple is committed to redirecting 30% of revenue from eligible purchases of Red Products in response to COVID-19. This will provide critical support to the health systems most at risk from the outbreak, thereby helping to preserve life-saving HIV/AIDS programmes in sub-Saharan Africa.
Typically, products that fall into this category are mostly iPhone or Apple Watch bands, but we’ve never seen a MacBook in that color. Apple fans club came up with this red MacBook Pro concept that their purchase will help with research in the fight against AIDS and COVID19. This concept creates a MacBook Pro even with the red (PRODUCT) logo below the traditional Apple logo on the lid.
