Google will offer some newly announced Pixel 7 features on its Pixel 6 smartphone. This information comes from Phone Arena, as the site claims it got the information directly from Google.
Google will bring a lot of Pixel 7 features to the Pixel 6 series of phones
According to the information provided, Clear Calling is one of the features that will be available in a future Pixel Feature Drop. What does it do? Well, it reduces background noise so you can talk without being distracted.
With Google’s Tensor chip and the company’s software, you can also say “mute” to stop incoming calls on the Pixel 7 series. This phrase joins the previous ones (stop and snooze for alarms and timers). The “mute” command will also work on phones powered by first-generation Tensor chips.
Bootstrap framework functionality will also be transferred. This feature essentially helps blind and visually impaired people take selfies. It emits audio prompts and uses vibration to help.
Real Tone improvements are coming too
The improvements Google made to “Real Tone” also apply to previous phones. Tensor-driven pixels should now better capture people’s skin color when you take pictures. This also applies to night vision and portrait modes, not just daylight shots.
Spatial audio for the Pixel Buds Pro will also be available on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro in the future. For those unfamiliar, Spatial Audio essentially creates “3D surround sound”.
Audio message transcription will also be carried over to previous Tensor phones. Its job is to transcribe audio on the phone, and it seems to work pretty well.
