The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is considered to be the next flagship series from the South Korean tech giant. The lineup is expected to include the standard Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra. These smartphones will likely be released sometime early next year. Rumors have been circulating about various aspects of the Galaxy S23 series. Now, Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), has revealed that the upcoming collection may only be available in a limited number of colour options.

All three phones in the Galaxy S23 series will only come in beige, black, green and light pink, Yang tweeted on Thursday. Samsung says it has significantly reduced the number of color options its next flagship series will offer.

In contrast, the Galaxy S22 series is available in a variety of colors. Depending on the model, you can get the Galaxy S22 series smartphones in Polaris Purple, Phantom White, Phantom Black, Pink Gold, Sky Blue, Graphite, Red, or more.

There have been some other rumors about the Galaxy S23 series recently. A recent report claims that the Galaxy S23+ may have a 4,700mAh battery, while the Galaxy S23 Ultra may have a 5,000mAh battery. The report further suggests that the original Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ will likely feature a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, similar to their predecessors, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+.

The Galaxy S23 series is also believed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The chipset reportedly comes with an improved Neural Processing Unit (NPU), Image Signal Processor (ISP), and GPU.

Renders of the Galaxy S23 Ultra were also leaked recently, suggesting that Samsung may not change its design drastically compared to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The phone is said to have a 6.8-inch display.
