Xiaomi Malaysia has launched two new models in the Redmi Note 10 series, namely Redmi Note 10 5G and Redmi Note 10S; both new phones are equipped with MediaTek processors and will be on sale from now!

Pricing and availability details

The following are the prices of Redmi Note 10 5G and Redmi Note 10S:

• Redmi Note 10 5G （8GB  + 128GB）– RM799
• Redmi Note 10S     （8GB  + 128GB）– RM899

Redmi Note 10S will be available for sale from now on. You can buy it at Xiaomi’s official online stores in Lazada and Shopee, or at authorized retailers in Malaysia.

This new phone will be available in 3 colors: Onyx Grey, Pebble White, and Ocean Blue. As an early bird discount, if you purchase Redmi Note 10S from the authorized Mi Store, you can get Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic 2 wireless earphones for free, with limited stock.

The Redmi Note 10 5G will go on sale on May 28 and can be purchased at Lazada, Shopee, and authorized retailers. There are 4 colors to choose from: silver, gray, blue, and green.

Redmi Note 10 5G

Redmi Note 10 5G, which looks a bit like Poco M3 Pro 5G, is currently the most affordable 5G smartphone. It has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ screen and a 90Hz refresh rate, and is equipped with MediaTek’s 7nm Dimensity 700 chip; equipped with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.

For the camera, it uses a three-camera setup with a 48MP main lens, and two 2MP depth and macro lenses. For selfies, it is equipped with an 8MP lens on the screen.

Redmi Note 10 5G has a built-in 5000mAh battery, which can be used for 18W fast charging via USB-C, and a 22.5W charger is included in the box.

The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, infrared transmitter, and side fingerprint sensor. In addition to being available out of the box, it runs the MIUI 12 system of Android 11.

Redmi Note 10S

If you don’t need 5G and prefer a better camera and screen, you can choose the RM100 expensive Redmi Note 10S, which has a smaller 6.43-inch Full HD+ screen with a more vivid AMOLED panel.

Redmi Note 10S is equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G95 processor, with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. To provide better sound quality, it is also equipped with a dual speaker setup.

As for the camera, it uses a four-camera setup, which includes a 64MP main lens, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 2MP depth and macro lenses. The screen is equipped with a 13MP selfie camera.

Like Redmi Note 10 5G, Redmi Note 10S is also equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, infrared transmitter, and side fingerprint sensor.

The 5000mAh battery can support a higher 33W fast charge through USB-C. A 33W charger is also included in the box. The new machine out of the box runs the MIUI 12.5 system of Android 11.
