1. First of all, guys, you need to have the Samsung phone, this is the most important premise for the Samsung smart home system. You can use your old phones, of course, I think it is the most of people’s choice. Definitely, you can use the new Samsung phones!
2. Download the app–Galaxy Upcycling at Home project. After you download this app, you can turn your phone into a smart home device, such as the baby status monitor.
3. It should be noticed that you can install the app if you own a Galaxy S, Note, or Z device running Android 9 and newer or released from 2018.
The awesome feature of that:
The feature can actively monitor for sounds like baby cries or dogs barking using the phone’s microphone. It can also switch on smart devices in response to lighting conditions too. This feature’s powered by the device’s ambient light sensor. As the feature works through the SmartThings platform, the phone can also control Samsung products within the household, too.
