The second batch of supported models has 16 models: Xiaomi 10S, Xiaomi 10 Youth Edition 5G, Xiaomi 9, Xiaomi CC9 Pro, Redmi K40 Pro, Redmi K40, Redmi K30S Extreme Commemorative Edition, Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition, Redmi K30 Pro, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30i 5G, Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9, Redmi 10X Pro 5G, Redmi 10X 5G.
Upgrade method: users of the stable version can directly upgrade in Settings> My Device> About This Phone.
Prior to April 22, the MIUI 12.5 stable version officially launched the first batch of full push. The first batch of supported models is 7 models, namely Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11, Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 and Mi 9 SE.
Xiaomi’s latest generation of MIUI 12.5 system was released in December last year, and the official said that this upgrade is no less than a major version update.
It involves security and privacy, super wallpaper, motion design, tactile design, system optimization and many other aspects.
The new version adds four new functions: smart clipboard privacy protection, file sandbox mechanism, web browsing privacy protection, location information privacy protection, and the introduction of MIUI + multi-screen office software.
In terms of fluency, the official claims that the system memory usage has dropped by an average of 35%, power consumption by 25%, and super wallpaper power consumption by up to 40%.
