Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 in October 2025

Microsoft is expected to release the next version of Windows on June 24, but they have already announced the end of support for Windows 10: October 2025.

This means that existing users have about 4 years to prepare, and don’t say it’s too late to transfer.

Microsoft quietly listed on a product support page that Windows 10 will be retired on October 14, 2025. Starting from the launch on July 29, 2015, it will be a little more than 10 years.

It is comparable to its predecessors such as Windows 8.1 and Windows 7.

At present, Microsoft’s tone is very tight for Windows 11. Except for speculation that there will be a new design and an improved Windows store, the rest is a mystery.

However, Windows has traditionally maintained an “alternating good and bad” situation weirdly.

Among the main products with high market share, such as Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 10, there are products that have been forgotten by most people, such as Windows ME, Windows Vista, and Windows 8.

Products that succeed Windows 10 must work hard not to fall into this “tradition”.
