Google’s announcement that the Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel Watch will launch on October 6th basically ruined the party for some tipsters who were counting on the information to get quite a few headlines. However, there is one more announcement that will grab attention, and that is the release date. The rumor mill has released two sale dates for the Google Pixel 7 series and Google’s first smartwatch, the Pixel Watch.
A report from the German publication, citing a Google partner, said that the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be available for pre-order on October 6, the same day the smartphones were launched globally. The phones are said to be available for purchase at the Google Store and partners on October 18. However, the Pixel Watch is said to be available for purchase starting November 4th. The publication notes that there may be some changes in terms of availability.
The above dates are supported by renowned salesman Roland Quandt. He claims that he also heard that the Google Pixel 7 series will start shipping on October 18.
A few weeks ago, Front Page Tech reported that the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be available for pre-orders on October 6th and go on sale on October 13th. Front Page Tech’s track record so far is pretty good as its statements about Google’s hardware focus.
Google may reveal information about the availability of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro at the launch event. Or will it be like teasing a smartphone and announcing a release date at Google I/O, digging for this information ahead of time, we don’t know yet.
