Starting with the Asus Zenfone 8 renders, you can clearly see a dual-lens camera system on the back and a left-aligned display cutout for the selfie camera on the front. The display is on the smaller size at 5.92-inches, allegedly with a FHD+ resolution. The rear camera system could have a 64MP main sensor paired with a 12MP macro lens.
Inside, Agarwal reaffirms that the Snapdragon 888 processor is on offer, which Asus already confirmed. Agarwal says it could have an 8GB/128GB variant when it comes to RAM and internal storage respectively. However, it’s likely Asus would offer different storage configurations at different price points.
Zenfone 8 can also equip 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. Wireless charging is still unconfirmed, but unlikely. Do note that the phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is always nice to see.
With the Asus Zenfone 8 Flip, we clearly have a bigger, more premium smart phone. It can have a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Since the flippy cam is onboard, that display is completely uninterrupted with no notch or cutout. The bezels also look quite small.
Zenfone 8’s larger size allegedly accommodates a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. It also would have the Snapdragon 888, as confirmed by Asus.
This triple camera on the back is apparently a 64MP main, an 8MP telephoto, and a 12MP macro.
