Apple Apple released the iOS 14.6 update a few days ago, and we immediately conducted a power test using 7 iPhone models.
However, after upgrading to iOS 14.6, the battery life is lower than that of iOS 14.5.1.
We conducted power tests with 7 mobile phones, including iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone 8, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone SE 2020, and the results were as follows:
iPhone SE: 1660, 2 hours and 46 minutes
iPhone 6s: 1520, 2 hours and 32 minutes
iPhone 7: 2133, 3 hours and 34 minutes
iPhone 8: 2054, 3 hours 27 minutes
iPhone XR: 2905, 4 hours and 52 minutes
iPhone 11: 3154, 5 hours and 17 minutes
iPhone SE 2020: 1857, 3 hours 6 minutes
From the point of view of the score table, almost all iPhones do not perform well in iOS 14.6 battery life, and they are worse than iOS 14.5.1.
For example, the power of the iPhone SE 2020 has dropped by nearly 10%, and the battery life of the iPhone 6S has dropped by nearly 13%.
