According to previous news, Xiaomi will hold a press conference in late 2021 or early 2022 to officially launch the new flagship mobile phone of the Xiaomi 12 series, which will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC. The latest news shows that the release date of this phone is getting closer and closer.
Existing netizens have discovered that the Mi 12 series will also be launched simultaneously in the global market. The global versions of Mi 12 and 12 Pro (2201122G & 2201123G) have now obtained EEC certification.
This shows that the global press conference of the Mi 12 series is imminent, and it can even be said that it is much earlier than last year’s global press conference.
EEC certification (E-mark certification) is an approval system for auto parts implemented in accordance with the ECE regulations signed and promulgated by the Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) in Geneva. The ECE regulations are recommended for all member states, not mandatory standards.
Member states can apply ECE regulations or extend their own national regulations. From the perspective of market demand, ECE member states are generally more willing to accept test reports and certificates that comply with ECE regulations.
