For users, the iPhone 13 mini is really cherished after it comes out because it will be the last mini model in the series.
According to supply chain news, Apple suppliers Foxconn and Pegatron will share orders for the upcoming Apple iPhone 13 mini this year. It is reported that this year’s iPhone model will be named iPhone 13, and there are still 4 models, namely iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The news also mentioned that due to poor sales, this year’s iPhone 13 mini is expected to be the last 5.4-inch model in Apple’s flagship product line. The mini-series will end after the iPhone 13.
According to the report, although Apple’s small-size models have always had many supporters, considering that more users have become accustomed to large-screen mobile phones, Apple has also launched the iPhone SE to meet the needs of some small-screen users. It may not make much sense to keep the mini model in the flagship series.
Pegatron is Apple’s second-largest iPhone assembler, second only to Foxconn. Although Pegatron may also receive a small part of the standard 6.1-inch iPhone 13 orders, Foxconn will still be the main assembler for the entire 2021 iPhone series.
