The iPad mini 5 released in March 2019 became the entry-level iPad with the highest CP value at the time because of its powerful A12 chip.
Analysts also revealed that the iPad Mini, which has not been updated for two years, is expected to usher in a major facelift in the second half of the year.
The report pointed out that Apple may launch a major revision of the iPad Mini 6 in the second half of 2021. The screen size will be increased from 7.9 inches to 9 inches, and the HOME button may be discarded and the fingerprint recognition and power button may be combined.
In other words, the appearance of the iPad Mini 6 is quite close to that of the iPad Air 4.
The report also revealed that Apple is currently developing an iPad Mini equipped with a Mini LED panel, but did not specify the release time and price. Although the color rendering, contrast, and resolution of the Mini LED panel are better than that of the LCD panel, the relative cost is also higher.
