At 1 am on April 21st, Apple held the 2021 spring new product launch event, bringing the new purple iPhone 12, the new iPad Pro, the new iMac, and the long-rumored tracking accessory AirTag.
AirTag adopts a circular disc design, the size is the same as a coin, and the white shell is embedded with silver metal. Its built-in new self-developed chip U1 uses UWB technology to achieve precise location positioning.
In terms of functions, the device can be used with backpacks, wallets, keys and other easily lost items to help users track lost items through Apple’s Find My function.
It is worth mentioning that Apple emphasizes that AirTag is designed to track objects rather than people. Therefore, privacy issues are considered, and a variety of encrypted privacy security measures are built-in, which can help users avoid accidental tracking during use and better protect user safety.
It is priced at CNY229 and will be pre-ordered this Friday and will be officially listed on April 30.
