At the end of 2020, Twitter began to test the sharing function of the iOS version, trying to allow users to directly forward tweets to Snapchat and Instagram for limited-time updates.
Today, Twitter announced the official launch of this feature. iOS users can directly press the share icon below the tweet and select Instagram limited-time updates in the menu to share the tweet on IG.
Although the new feature allows you to share tweets directly, the tweets displayed in the limited-time feeds will appear in a non-interactive form, and you cannot directly go to the original text on Twitter through the tweets in the limited-time feeds.
Although this will not be able to bring Instagram users to Twitter, at least the tweets shared in the limited-time Instagram feed will be neater and clearer, and users who share tweets don’t have to fill their phones with screenshots often.
