At the beginning of this month, VIVO held a new product launch conference for the S series and officially launched the new generation of slim and light selfie flagship VIVO S9. With a body thickness of 7.35mm, it broke the record of VIVO’s thinnest 5G mobile phone. Besides the flagship VIVO S9, there is also a VIVO S9e unveiled.
In terms of design language, the VIVO S9e adopts a 2.5D glass back cover and a right-angle frame design. The appearance is highly recognizable.
The VIVO S9e uses a 6.44-inch water drop AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2404×1080 and supports a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch control adoption rate of up to 180Hz.
In terms of performance, the VIVO S9e is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 820 processor, using 7nm process technology, the main frequency is up to 2.6GHz while integrating Mali G57 MC5 GPU, supporting SA/NSA dual-mode network.
It is worth mentioning that the memory of many high-end mobile phones has reached 12GB, 16GB, or even 18GB. The memory of mid-range phones is naturally not so luxurious. 8GB is already very good, and the memory fusion technology supported by VIVO S9e can increase the equivalent memory capacity.
According to the official introduction, the whole VIVO S9e system is equipped with 8GB of memory. After the memory fusion technology is turned on, 3GB of storage space can be transferred to the operating memory for use. 8GB of memory is equivalent to 11GB of memory.
In terms of cameras, the phone uses a rear 3-camera matrix module, including a 64-megapixel main camera + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens camera. The front is equipped with a 32-megapixel ultra-clear lens camera that supports Super Portrait Night View 2.0.
In terms of battery life, the VIVO S9e has a built-in 4,100mAh capacity battery and supports 33W wired fast charging.
In terms of price, the VIVO S9e 8+128GB is priced at ¥2,399, and the 8+256GB is priced at ¥2,699.
