Considering the general overlap in functionality between the Note and S-series, and the addition of S-Pen support in the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung might shut down production of the Note 20-series altogether by the end of the year. This leaves little room in Samsung’s portfolio for two distinct line-ups. With no new Note-series phone on the horizon, this might just be the final nail in the coffin of the iconic series.
