Infinix might be best known for its smartphones, but the company is also making 14” laptops called INBook X1. The series consists of three notebooks with 10th gen Intel processors, and the Indian division has just announced the launch of the trio.
It comes with Windows 11 Home out of the box, unlike global units which ship with Windows 10.
The devices are extremely light, offer a bunch of ports and ship with a physical shutter for the front-facing camera that also mutes the microphone.
The INBook X1 comes with Intel i3-1005G1 or Intel I5-1035G1, while the Intel i7-1065G1 version carries a Pro moniker to differentiate itself. It also has a fingerprint scanner embedded into the body.
The INBook X1 has 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, while the Pro doubles that to 16GB. The Intel i3 variant has a 256GB SSD, while the other two versions come with a 512GB SSD. The INBook X1 Pro is the only one of three that supports Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and that’s where the major differences end.
Infinix equipped all INBook X1 versions with 1 HDMI port, three USB ports (2x 3.0, 1x 2.0), and two more USB-C ports for data transfer or charging. Speaking of charging, the battery is 55WH and can be charged through the dedicated 65W Power Delivery 3.0 Type-C charger. According to the promo materials, 70% of the battery can be charged in just 55 minutes.
There’s no discrete GPU in the INBook X1, which means you get an Iris Plus G7 for the Intel i7 option, and Intel UHD Graphics for the other two.
Infinix INBook X1 series can be purchased in Green, Red, or Gray colors. Prices are INR35,999, INR45,999, or INR55,999 for the three tiers.
They are listed on Flipkart, and sales are scheduled to begin next week, December 15.
