New colors for HomePod mini may start to be ordered in early November, and an industry insider said that orders may start in the first week of this month.
Apple’s Unleashed event took the time to introduce three new color options for HomePod mini, which will arrive sometime in November. According to a rumor, the launch of the product may be close at hand.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman posted on Twitter, Apple users can expect the new color of HomePod mini to appear early this week.
Although Gurman did not provide an exact date, it seems reasonable for Apple to release a new choice of smart speakers as early as this month to take advantage of the holiday shopping model.
Gurman’s comments echoed similar rumors from AppleTrack on October 27, as it “heard” that November 1 was the release date. It is unclear whether there will be any pre-order windows or whether Apple will skip the pre-order windows and go directly to sales.
It is reported that the new color options for HomePod mini include blue, yellow and orange. In addition to the soft appearance, this compact smart speaker has no other changes. The HomePod mini is priced at $99, and currently only space gray and white are available for purchase.
