Google supports Android in many ways, the most important of which is to log in to a Google account. A few days ago, Google announced that as of September 27, it will end support for some older versions of Android systems.
According to reports, Google recently sent emails to users using Android 2.3.7 and lower devices.
The content pointed out that Google will recently announce that it will no longer support Android 1.0, Android 1.1, Android 1.5 Cupcake, Android 1.6 Donut, Android 2.0 Eclair, Android 2.2 Froyo, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and Android 2.3.7.
These versions will not be able to log in to Google Apps such as YouTube, Gmail, Google Drive, etc. through a Google account.
If the user continues to use these old Android operating system devices, the login account from September 27, 2021 will display a user name or password error.
However, if you use a browser to use a restaurant’s ordering equipment and other specific services, it will basically not be affected.
Whereas, having said that, Android 2.3.7 is an operating system released by Google as early as September 2011. Not only has there been no technical support for a long time, it has been more than 10 years so far.
Therefore, Google recommends that users should update their Android devices.
In addition, Google intends to terminate the Google Play support service for Android 4.1-4.3 Jelly Bean before the end of August 2021.
