The iPhone 12s is expected to support reverse wireless charging for the first time

Last year, Apple brought MagSafe magnetic wireless charging to the iPhone 12 series with a maximum power of 15W.

According to Max Weinbach, the iPhone 12s series will use a larger coil, which may mean an increase in wireless charging power, and it is also expected to introduce a reverse wireless charging feature.

However, the reverse wireless charging of the iPhone 12s will be limited to Apple’s own devices such as Apple Watch and AirPods.

The reason for the addition of reverse charging may be related to the general increase in battery capacity of the iPhone 12s series. According to previously exposed information, the iPhone 12s Pro Max will be equipped with a 4352 mAh battery, the iPhone 12s and iPhone 12s Pro are both with 3095mAh batteries, and the iPhone 12s mini is with a 2406mAh battery.

In addition, a comparison chart shows that the three-camera openings on the back of the iPhone 12s Pro are a circle larger than that of the iPhone 12 Pro and appear denser. This should mean an increase in the aperture, lens group, and pixels.
