Chinese electronics giant “Xiaomi” is reportedly working on the latest advanced charging technology.
The technology is claimed to be faster charging than wireless charging.
Xiaomi has recently experimented with its “Air Charge” technology which can wirelessly charge smartphone devices without any cables or stands.
The company Xiaomi is also reviewing the Hyper Charge charging technology, which supports fast charging up to 200W.
Xiaomi was able to amaze tech lovers after news of the development of Air Charge spread widely.
The Xiaomi company is also rumored to have filed an Air Charge patent which shows that Xiaomi is the official holder of the license.
Air Charge will use air as a conductor to charge smartphones and other electronics.
The patent data filed by the company Xiaomi is as China’s National Intellectual Property Administration reveals some important details of the upcoming development solution.
The patent document states that smartphone giant Xiaomi is working on a technology that uses sound, mechanical vibration and other components to charge devices, both inside and outside the environment, as stated in the patent description.
Xiaomi’s patent description also reveals that the electronic device will convert these mechanical vibrations into alternating current (AC), which will be converted into direct current (DC) using a transducer.
The patent shows that this charging technology can be used to charge smartphones and other electronic devices without the need for any cables and power adapters.
Even though the company has filed a patent, it doesn’t mean that the company will be using Air Charge technology any time soon.
It is noteworthy that this is the second future charging solution from the company to be revealed in recent months.
Previously announced, Mi Air Charge can charge multiple devices simultaneously even while playing games.
Air Charge is also claimed to be able to charge wherever you are while you have range.
