Amoled screen is a move for Samsung, OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi, what are the advantages?

The smartphone war seems inevitable, all troops are ready to be on the front lines by bringing out their best champions. Especially the Android clan that is busy fighting compared to the iOS clan that has no opponent, because the clan from America has successfully destroyed Huawei’s prestige through an embargo on devices and applications made in their country.

Meanwhile, the Android clan is currently held between Chinese and Korean troops, where Japan and Europe are struggling to play in this segment. They prefer to sell only their devices such as Sony cameras, which is more profitable than having to compete with the insanity of the Chinese smartphone troops that have the tag God Specs Low Price.

Only Samsung from Korea can meet the insanity of Chinese troops in making quality cheap smartphones. Sony is still pursuing the high-end market, Nokia is difficult to move fast, Google pixel is like being imprisoned forwards, not backward nor does it stand still in the face of reality.

Samsung as the king of Amoled was shocked, even Oppo and Vivo were ready to release their super Amoled screen troops to enliven the market.

To be honest, it is Samsung who developed the Amoled screen, so it’s no wonder Samsung products have an Amoled screen on average. However, the price is arguably unreachable for the entry-level class.

The sharpness of the screen and colors are more vivid and lifelike. And it can make the battery more economical, then color saturation, shadow, sharpen and backlight are practically perfect. So the black color can look dense and good, under the hot sun this type of screen still looks good, which an IPS panel display cannot have. You could say all of these are the advantages of the Amoled screen. Of course, the price for giving this screen to a smartphone is also not cheap, so for the entry-level, it is rather difficult to get a screen like this, usually using a TFT or IPS type Display Panel.

But with every advantage there will be drawbacks, the Amoled screen is arguably vulnerable to damage. Shadow (Burn-in), flicker (the screen that always flickers), often occurs in Amoled screen usage when there is a defect like that, the user must replace the Amoled screen at a high cost.

How long will this Amoled screen be damaged for over a year of use, if the user is dirty there will definitely be damage, but if the user is smart up to 3 years it is still good? But just a suggestion, the use of smartphones over 3 years is not recommended because the longer the OS will be higher, the more application usage will be, the 5G system is expected to use a cloud system. When the cloud system is running, large storage is no longer needed.
