First, I ll show you guys the picture shot by Mi 10T Pro
The front of the Mi 10T Pro adopts the design of single-hole straight screen, and the system interface is native Android 10 instead of MIUI probably due to the engineering machine. The camera has three color configurations and a rectangular camera module on the back, which at first glance looks a bit like the Vivo X50 Pro’s design. It highlights the largest main camera with a 108 megapixel main camera, which is supposed to be the same one used by the CC9 Pro and the Mi 10 series.
In terms of core features, the new phone is powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor, the screen is made of LCD, and it has the highest refresh rate of the Xiaomi brand at 144Hz. Since it is an LCD screen, there is no screen fingerprint recognition, instead, the side fingerprint recognition function is integrated into the power button.
Anyway, this configuration of Mi 10T pro is awesome according to my using demand.
I definitely prefer LCD over OLED, because of a very widespread issue called BURN-IN, I suggest if you wanna use a phone over 3yrs do not go with OLEDs or AMOLEDs, course there are very expensive in case you need to replace them and they have burn-in problem, and do not trust YouTubers, they only use phones for like a day, and problems will not reveal in a day believe me
Actually by now it’s practically sure rumors are true. See leaks.
Come on guys. Proper flagship?
Mi 10 Pro
Need budget friendly?
Mi 10 or Poco F2 Pro
Prefer LCD high referesh rate?
This one. Phone itself and real price remain to be seen though
Stop being greedy. If this is not enough, turn to other brands. Or you may wait for next budget Xiaomis but get your expectations real.
It’s a shame that it comes with IPS. I wanted a fladscreen phone and this was it but it’s a shame it comes with IPS display. My 3 last phones were with AMOLED and OLED. And why get rid of the perescop camera for a wide angle camera? Just stupid…
LoL EU price more expansive than asian lol..
to compare Malaysian price tax included.
$478 USD – Mi 10Tpro 5G
$395 USD – Mi 10T 5G
but after 4-5 months this phone will cut off around – $195 USD. from original price.
IPS display on a flagship? No thanks
I don’t understand why they call it ” Pro ” beacause there is no zoom lens. They should call it ” mi 10 lite “. So the only difference between Mi 10T and the ” pro ” version is the size of the main camera… ouawww what a ” PRO ” version !!
AMOLED sucks!!! It can last for 2 years and LCD can last for 30 years!!!
Most of you that have burns after months can be explained in 3 ways. 1. You are talking BS which it’s 90% of the case, I currently use an A71 and in 9 months of use, the screen is perfect. I have Note 4 from it was brand new, the screen is perfect. I used S9+ until the battery died on me and I used it for 2 years and guess what ? No burns at all. 2. You are using brightness above 70% and 3. You leave your phone on the table with the screen opened for a very long time with the same image. If you know how to use a phone, the OLED will never burn. My GF still has her LG G5 and guess what ? It has ghost effect all over the screen, similar with OLED burn and you know why ? Because she kept leaving it on the table opened for a very long time with the same image. So this thing with burns exists but people just like to make up reasons for something that they want or it’s missing. 144Hz on that LCD crap is useless. Compare this phone with Poco F2 Pro and the quality of the screen on F2 Pro is light years ahead of this super cheap LCD. And they also used LCD to make the phone cheaper.
I think the Malaysia price is most cheapest only cost RM1999 which is about 410 EUR, and it’s 8+256.
bad cooling system. too hot for 144hz gaming and long term usage.
All you just said was BS. Its 108 megapixel camera does great. And whats wrong with the screen it litteraly has 144hz the most in a phone screen. Snapdragon 865. 8gb of ram. This phone can do a lot of things it is not a waste of money.
Yep, it only supports 120FPS
Well for me IPS it’s not a problem while Samsung continues to ship versions with Exynos and AMOLED with massive green tint issues.
5000mah battery with snapdragon + IPS will have same performance than 4500mah with Exynos + Amoled.
it’s good that for people like me that prefer LCD over AMOLED there are also choices out there. One thing could have made this phone better is the micro SD slot, for a camera phone that feature is really important.
they all trade punches none of the phones you mentioned are clear winners compare to this phone.
You want a honest review? I just bought Mi 10T Pro as a replacement and upgrade to my Oneplus 7T. And coming from oxygen os environment to MIUI is a very different feeling. The fluidity of Oxygen is way way better than MIUI. On my 7T, as my daily driver I never experienced any issues when it comes to animation and smoothness. Now leaping back again to MIUI (As I owned previous xiaomi devices like Mi 3, Mi 4C, Mi 5, Mi 6) I obviously felt the difference of the MIUI and Oxygen OS. Using Mi 10T Pro as my daily phone, I experienced already many bugs, inconsistency to the animation, stutters and lags. That is due to poor and still under ripe MIUI 12.
Aside from that. Yes, the poor Audio Microphone quality is real. I believe this is only a software issue since I ran many test for the audio microphone quality and it is very good. It is only bad when making video calls wherein you are not directly facing the phone at your ear (line doing phone calls). Like facing the phone right in front of you and talking or doing video call.
108MP Camera is not a gimmick believe me. Mi 10T Pro uses Samsung HMX sensor wherein can be found on flagship models of Samsung and also on other Mi 10 series (10 Pro, 10 Ultra, 10 5G). Compared to my 1+7T which does have 48MP Sony IMX 586. It is way way better than 7T camera. Low light is also good
Now AMOLED Panel. This is somewhat a deal breaker for most of the people who is AMOLED die hard fans. I’ve been using AMOLED ever since on my other previous phones mostly. And AMOLED is real good. But believe me. IPS LCD on the Mi 10T Pro is the best version of ips. color is same as vibrant as any other amoled phones , the only difference is the “true black color” on the amoled which obviously the light on the amoled panel is turning off itself that is why you see a true black. It is not bothering me if I’m using IPS LCD on this device. Nothing different than amoled.
One issue that is annoying me. When phone heats up and feels warm to feel. Like temperature of both cpu and gpu is reaching out to more than 42C. The adaptive sync will automatically adjust itself to 60hz and locking in to it. It will goes back again to normal higher hz when device cools down. That is annoying me.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with my upgrade. Aside from those issues that I’ve mentioned
Here in PH Website for Mi 10T series, it is clearly stated in the footnotes that the 10T Pro supports 120fps while the 10T supports 240/960fps. If you checked the Samsung HMX (Isocell bright HMX) specs, it only maxxed-out @ 148fps @1080p for its video framerate .
I saw some reviews and some people even say that camera is better than Mi 11 in some cases. So yeah, you should not worry about that if you ask me. And yeah, almost everyone that reviewed it say that battery lasts for two full days without any issues. So that’s also fine if you ask me.
